R. 11201](/us/bill/71/hr/11201).][[Public, No. 556](/us/pl/71/556).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the SecretaryFox River.Examination of, for flood control, authorized. of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a preliminary examination to be made of the Fox River, Wisconsin, with a view to the control of floods in accordance with the provision of an Act entitled “An Act to provide for control of the floods of the Mississippi River and the Sacramento River, California, and for other purposes,” approved March 1, 1917, the cost thereof to be paidVol. 39, p. 948.Funds available. from appropriations heretofore or hereafter made for examinations, surveys, and contingencies of rivers and harbors.
