CHAP. 262.— An Act For the relief of Lillian N. Lakin. February 20, 1931.[[H. R. 5926](/us/bill/71/hr/5926).][[Private, No. 362](/us/pvtl/71/362).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Comptroller Lillian N. Lakin. Settlement of naval gratuity, etc., to, in loco parentis to Raymond N. Lakin. General of the United States be, and he is hereby, authorized, notwithstanding the provisions of the Act of May 22, 1928 (Forty-fifth Vol. 45, p. 710, waived.Statutes, page 710), to settle, adjust, and certify the claim of Lillian N.
Lakin as a person standing in loco parentis to the late Private Raymond N. Lakin, United States Marine Corps, for the sums of $126 as six months’ death gratuity and $40.65 as arrears of pay. Approved, February 20, 1931.
