CHAP. 235.— An Act To authorize the Secretary of War to resell the undisposed of portion of Camp Taylor, Kentucky, approximately three hundred and twenty-eight acres, and to also authorize the appraisal of property disposed of under authority contained in the Acts of Congress approved July 9, 1918, and July 11, 1919, and for other purposes. February 20, 1931.[[S. 4636](/us/bill/71/s/4636).][[Public, No. 692](/us/pl/71/692).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary Camp Taylor, Ky.Sale of certain portion of, authorized.of War is hereby authorized, after due advertisement, to sell at public auction, for cash, but at not less than the appraised value, that portion of Camp Taylor, Kentucky, approximately three hundred and twenty-eight acres, which was attempted to be sold under authority of the Act of Congress approved February 28, 1920 (41 Vol. 41, pp. 453, 454.Stat. 453, 454), but which sales were not consummated by the respective purchasers.
The Secretary of War is also authorized to Appraisal and payment of costs.have said land appraised again, the cost of such appraisal to be paid from the proceeds derived from the sale; and the net proceeds of Deposit of net proceeds.such sale shall be deposited in the Treasury to the credit of the fund known as the military-post construction fund: *Provided*, That hereafter *Proviso*.Future sales of War Department real estate denied, without approval of Congress.Conflicting laws repealed.no real estate of the War Department shall be sold or disposed of without authority of Congress, and all existing Acts or parts thereof in conflict with this proviso, other than special Acts for the sale of stated tracts of land, are hereby repealed.
