CHAP. 235.— Joint Resolution Providing for the participation by the United States in the International Conference on Load Lines, to be held in London, England, in 1930. May 9, 1930.[[H. J. Res., No. 69](/us/bill/71/pubres/69).] Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the sum of $20,000,International Conference on Load Lines.Sum authorized for participating in, at random, England.Vol. 45, p. 1492.*Post*, p. 886. or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby authorized to be appropriated for the expenses of participation by the United States in the International Conference on Load Lines, to be held in London, England, in 1930, including travel and subsistence or per diem in lieu of subsistence (notwithstanding the provisions of any other Act), compensation of employees, stenographic and other services by contract if deemed necessary, rent of offices, purchase of necessary books and documents, printing and binding, printing of official visiting cards, and such other expenses as may be authorized by the Secretary of State.
