CHAP. 234.— An Act To provide for the addition of certain lands to the Yosemite National Park, California, and for other purposes. May 9, 1930.[[H. R. 10581](/us/bill/71/hr/10581).][[Public, No. 187](/us/pl/71/187).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That for the purposeYosemite National Park, Calif.Lands added to. of preserving and consolidating timber stands along the western boundary of the Yosemite National Park the President of the United States is hereby authorized, upon the joint recommendation of the Secretaries of Interior and Agriculture, to add to the Yosemite National Park, in the State of California, by Executive proclamation, section 1 and the north half of section 12, township 1 south, range 19 east, Mount Diablo meridian.
Sec. 2. That the provisions of the Act of June 10, 1920, knownWater Power Act not applicable.Vol. 41, p. 1063. as the Federal Water Power Act, shall not apply to any lands added to the Yosemite National Park under the authority of this Act. Approved, May 9, 1930.
