CHAP. 231.— An Act To amend the Federal Highway Act. February 20, 1931.[[S. 5314](/us/bill/71/s/5314).][[Public, No. 688](/us/pl/71/688).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Federal Federal Highway Act.Public Laws, 2d sess., p. 805, amended.Highway Act approved November 9, 1921 (42 Stat. L. 212), as amended or supplemented, be further amended by inserting after section 3 a new section, to be numbered 3a, and to read as follows:
" “Sec. 3a. The Secretary of Agriculture is authorized to cooperate Cooperative road construction in Indian reservations restored.Vol. 42, p. 212, amended.with the State highway departments and with the Department of the Interior in the construction of public highways within Indian reservations, and to pay the amount assumed therefor from the funds allotted or apportioned under this Act to the State wherein the reservation is located.” " Sec. 2. All Acts or parts of Acts in any way inconsistent with Inconsistent Jaws repealed.Effective Immediately.the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed, and this Act shall take effect on its passage.
