CHAP. 230.— An Act For the relief of Commercial Loan and Trust Company, Monticello, Arkansas. February 19, 1931.[[S. 5613](/us/bill/71/s/5613).][[Private, No. 349](/us/pvtl/71/349).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary Commercial Loan and Trust Company. Redemption of lost certificate of indebtedness in favor of. of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to redeem in favor of the Commercial Loan and Trust Company, Monticello, Arkansas, 5⅛ per centum United States Treasury certificate of indebtedness numbered 3945, in the denomination of $5,000, dated June 15, 1929, matured March 15, 1930, Series TM-1930, without interest and without presentation of the certificate which is alleged to have been lost and destroyed: *Provided,* That the said *Provisos.* Condition.certificate of indebtedness shall not have been previously presented and paid: *Provided further,* That said Commercial Loan and Trust Indemnity bond.Company shall first file in the Treasury Department a bond in the penal sum of double the amount of the principal of said certificate of indebtedness in such form and with such corporate surety as may be acceptable to the Secretary of the Treasury to indemnify and save harmless the United States from any loss on account of the certificate of indebtedness hereinbefore described.
