R. 8293](/us/bill/71/hr/8293).][[Public, No. 166](/us/pl/71/166).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the second Coast Guard.Vol. 45, p. 1534, amended.Allowance of total commissioned service in promotion of engineer officers.proviso of section 1 of the Act entitled “An Act to readjust the commissioned personnel of the Coast Guard, and for other purposes,” approved March 2, 1929, is hereby amended by striking out the words “total service” in said proviso and substituting therefor the words “total commissioned service.
