CHAP. 19.— An Act To grant the consent of Congress to the Highway Department of the State of Tennessee to maintain a bridge across the French Broad River on the Newport-Asheville (North Carolina) Road near the town of Del Rio in Cocke County, Tennessee. January 11, 1930.[[S. 1764](/us/bill/71/s/1764).][[Public, No. 32](/us/pl/71/32).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the consentFrench Broad River.Tennessee may bridge, near Del Rio. of Congress is hereby granted to the Highway Department of the State of Tennessee, its successors and assigns, to maintain and operate its bridge and approaches thereto, across the French Broad River on the Newport-Asheville (North Carolina) Road near the town of Del Rio in Cocke County, Tennessee, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction ofConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84.bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906, other 56than those requiring approval of plans and location by the Chief of Engineers and by the Secretary of War before the bridge is commenced.
Sec. 2. Amendment. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved. Approved, January 11, 1930.
