CHAP. 174.— An Act To amend section 366 of the Revised Statutes. April 17, 1930.[[H. R. 5260](/us/bill/71/hr/5260).][[Public, No. 133](/us/pl/71/133).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Department of Justice.[R. S., sec. 366, p. 62](/us/rs/s366/p62), amended.[U. S. C., p. 46](/us/usc/p46). That section 366 of the Revised Statutes of the United States (section 315, title 5, United States Code) be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as follows:
" “Sec. 366. Special assistant attorneys. Every attorney or counselor who is specially retained, under the authority of the Department of Justice, to assist in the Commission, oath, etc.trial of any case in which the Government is interested, shall receive a commission from the head of such department, as a special assistant to the Attorney General, or to some one of the district attorneys, or as a special attorney, as the nature of the appointment may require; and shall take the oath required by law to be taken by the district attorneys, and shall be subject to all the liabilities imposed upon Oath not required of foreign counsel.them by law.
Foreign counsel employed by the Attorney General in special cases shall not be required to take the oath required by this section.” " Approved, April 17, 1930.
