CHAP. 13.— Joint Resolution To amend the appropriation “Organizing the Naval Reserve, 1930.” June 7, 1929.[[H. J. Res. 61](/us/bill/71/hjres/61).][[Pub. Res., No. 8](/us/bill/71/pubres/8).] Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,Naval Reserve.Vol. 45, p. 1455, amended.Flight training.Matter amended. That the provision in the appropriation “Organizing the Naval Reserve, 1930,” reading “exclusive, however, of pay, allowances, or other expenses on account of members of any class of the Naval Reserve incident to their being given flight training unless, as a condition precedent, they shall have been found by such agency as the Secretary of the Navy may designate qualified to perform combat service as pilots of naval air craft,” Qualifications modified.is hereby amended to read as follows:
“exclusive, however, of pay, allowances, or other expenses on account of members of any class of the Naval Reserve incident to their being given flight training unless, as a condition precedent, they shall have been found by such agency as the Secretary of the Navy may designate physically and psychologically qualified to serve as pilots of naval aircraft.” Approved, June 7, 1929.
