R. 8290](/us/bill/71/hr/8290).][[Public, No. 626](/us/pl/71/626).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the SecretaryMohican River.Examination of, and its tributaries, to be made for flood control. of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a preliminary examination to be made of the Mohican River and its tributaries, especially the Mohican River Ditch south of Lake Fork, Ohio, a distance of eight miles, with a view to control the floods in accordance with the provisions of section 3 of an Act entitled “AnVol. 39, p. 950.
Act to provide for control of the floods of the Mississippi River, and of the Sacramento River, California, and for other purposes,” approved March 1, 1917, the cost thereof to be paid from appropriationsFund available. heretofore or hereafter made for examinations, surveys, and contingencies of rivers and harbors.
