That the Secretary of the Navy is hereby authorized to accept on behalf of the United States, free from encumbrance and without cost to the United States, a title in fee simple to such lands as he may deem necessary or desirable near Sunnyvale, in the county of Santa Clara, State of California,Description. particularly described in a report made to the Congress of the United States by the Secretary of the Navy on December 5, Construction of improvements.Cost limitation.1929, to wit:
One thousand acres as a site for a naval air station, and construct thereon improvements necessary and proper for a lighter-than-air base, at a cost not to exceed $5,000,000. Approved, February 12, 1931.
