CHAP. 112.— Joint Resolution Making an appropriation for participation by the United States in the International Conference for the Codification of International Law to be held at The Hague in 1930. That the sum of $25,000 is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated? to remain available until June 30, 1930, for the expenses of participation by the United States, by means of delegates to be appointed by the President, in the International Conference for the Codification of International Law at The Hague in March, 1930, including travel and subsistence or per diem in lieu of subsistence (notwithstanding the provisions of any other Act), Services, etc.Conditions waived.[R.

C., p. 1309](/us/usc/p1309).compensation of employees, stenographic and other services in the District of Columbia or elsewhere by contract if deemed necessary without regard to the provisions of section 3709 of the Revised Statutes (U. C., title 41, sec. 5), rent of offices, purchase of necessary books and documents, printing and binding, official cards, entertainment, and such other expenses as may be authorized by the Secretary of State; such sum to be available for expenditures incurred on or after February 2G, 1930.
