May 29, 1928.[[S. 2336](/us/bill/70/s/2336).][[Private No. 269](/us/pvtl/70/269).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Postmaster Credits to designated postmasters for losses by failures of banks.Nina MacDonald.General be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to credit the accounts of Nina MacDonald, late postmaster at Sunland, California, in the sum of $40.46, due the United States on account of loss of postal funds resulting from loss of registered parcel containing $166.46, which loss occurred February 14, 1925;

Johnston.Johnston, late postmaster at Atwater, Minnesota, in the sum of $351.35, due the United States on account of loss of postal funds resulting from the failure of First National Bank of Atwater, Minnesota; Margaret E. Thompson, late postmaster at Grey Eagle,Margaret E. Thompson. Minnesota, in the sum of $47.52, due the United States on account of the loss of postal funds resulting from the failure of the First National Bank of Grey Eagle, Minnesota; Arthur L.
Beaman, late Arthur L. Beaman.postmaster at Snow Hill, North Carolina, in the sum of $268.50, due the United States on account of loss of postal funds resulting from the failure of the Snow Hill Banking and Trust Company; May Fee, late postmaster at Charbonneau, North Dakota, in the May Fee.sum of $299.43, due the United States on account of the loss of postal funds resulting from the failure of the First National Bank at Fairview, Montana: *Provided*, That the said late postmasters *Proviso.*Assignment of claims.who have suffered loss through said bank failures shall assign to the United States any and all claims they may have to dividends arising from the liquidation of said banks.
