That in the administration of any laws conferring rights, privileges, and benefits upon honorably discharged soldiers Thomas Purdell, late of Company D, First and Second Battalions, Twelfth Regiment United States Infantry, shall hereafter be held and considered to have been honorably discharged from the military service of the United States as a *Proviso*.No back pay, etc.private of said company on the 7th day of January, 1865: *Provided*, That no bounty, pension, pay, or allowances shall be held as accrued prior to the passage of this Act.
