Code, p. 863](/us/usc/p863). of the United States be, and he is hereby, authorized, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to appoint an additional judge of the District Court of the United States for the Southern District of Florida, who shall reside in said district, and whose compensation, duties, and powers shall be the same as now provided by law for the judge of said district. Sec. 2. That this Act shall take effect immediately.Effective immediately. Approved, January 17, 1929.
