R. 8307](/us/bill/70/hr/8307).][[Public, No. 415](/us/pl/70/415).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That section 5 of Oregon-California railroad, etc., revested grant lands.Vol. 39, p.220, amended.Vol. 40, p. 1180.the Act of June 9, 1916 (Thirty-ninth Statutes at Large, page 218), and as amended and extended by section 3 of the Act of February 26, 1919 (Fortieth Statutes at Large, page 1179), be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding thereto the following paragraph:
" *“And provided further,* That the Secretary of the Interior may, Timber sales on agricultural lands, authorized.in his discretion and in the manner now provided for the sale of timber on lands of class two, sell the timber on any of the lands of class three which at the time application to purchase the timber is filed have been subject to entry for a period of at least two years and are not embraced in an application or entry, such sale of the timber not to preclude the disposal of the land under laws applicable thereto, subject to the right of the purchaser of the timber to cut and remove the same.
