R. 7913](/us/bill/70/hr/7913).][[Public, No. 34](/us/pl/70/34).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States, of America in Congress assembled, * Elk River.Alabama may bridge, between Lauderdale and Limestone Counties. That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to the highway department of the State of Alabama and its successors and assigns to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Elk River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, on the Athens-Florence road between Lauderdale and Limestone Counties,Construction.Vol. 34, p. 84. in the State of Alabama, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906. 110 Sec. 2.
The Act of Congress approved March 22, 1926, entitledFormer Act repealed.Vol. 44, p. 215, repealed. “An Act granting the consent of Congress to the highway department of the State of Alabama to construct a bridge across Elk River on the Athens-Florence road between Lauderdale and Limestone Counties, Alabama,” is hereby repealed. Sec. 3. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, February 16, 1928.
