Res., No. 70](/us/bill/70/pubres/).] *Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * International Conference for Revision of Convention for Safety of Life at Sea.Sum authorized for participation therein.*Post*, p. 1612. That the sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby authorized to be appropriated for the expenses of participation by the United States in the International Conference for the Revision of the Convention of 1914 for the Safety of Life at Sea, to be held in London, England, in 1929, including travel and subsistence or per diem in lieu of subsistence (notwithstanding the provisions of any other Act), compensation of employees, stenographic and other services by contract if deemed necessary, rent of offices, purchase of necessary books and documents, printing and binding, printing of official visiting cards, and such other expenses as may be authorized by the Secretary of State.
