No. 38](/us/bill/70/pubres/38).] *Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary Great Britain.Payment to, in recognition of services of William Wiseman for American interests in Mexico.of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, directed to pay to Great Britain, as an act of grace and without reference to the question of legal liability, the sum of $9,200 in recognition of the services of William Wiseman as British vice consul at Salina Cruz.
Mexico, in behalf of American interests from April 12, 1914, to December 13, 1917, as set forth in the message of the President of December 17, 1927, printed as Senate Document Numbered 22, Seventieth Congress, first Appropriation authorized.*Post,* p. 912.session; and there is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, a sufficient sum to carry out the purpose of this Act. Approved, May 3, 1928.
