R. 8889](/us/bill/70/hr/8889).][[Private, No. 10](/us/pvtl/70/10).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,That the Secretary Adriano Cruceta.Payment to, for death of son.of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, and in full settlement against the Government, the sum of $1,000 to Adriano Cruceta as compensation for the death of his son at Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, resulting from shooting by a member of the United States Marine Corps on the 22d day of August, 1923, the payment to be as a matter of grace and without regard to liability for such death.
