R. 333](/us/bill/70/hr/333).][[Private, No. 67](/us/pvtl/70/67).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That upon payment Jesse Lee Home.Sale of certain lands near Seward. Alaska, for use of, authorized.therefor at the rate of $1.25 per acre the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to issue patent for the following-described lands to the Woman’s Home Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church for use in connection with the Jesse Lee Home, a home for orphan children:
Approximately the west twenty-one and eighty-six one-hundredths chains of United States survey numbered 242, Alaska: *Provided*, That the lands shall *Provisos*.Survey, etc.be identified on the ground by survey before patent issues, and that patent shall issue in accordance with such survey: *Provided further*,Minerals, etc., reserved.That there shall be reserved to the United States all oil, coal, or other minerals in the land and the right to prospect for, mine, and remove the same under such rules and regulations as the Secretary of the Interior shall prescribe.
