Baker, who claims to have been disabled in the line of his employment as physician at the Pacific Branch of the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers at Sawtelle, California, the benefit of the ActVol. 39, p. 742; Vol. 44, p. 772. of September 7, 1916 (Thirty-ninth Statutes at Large, page 742), as amended, without regard to the time of the filing of his claim for such benefits.
