R. 5728](/us/bill/70/hr/5728).][[Public, No. 20](/us/pl/70/20).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Bayou Bartholomew.Morehouse Parish, La., may bridge, at Point Pleasant. That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to the police jury of Morehouse Parish, Louisiana, or the State Highway Commission of Louisiana, and their successors and assigns, to construct, maintain, and operate a free bridge and approaches thereto across the Bayou Bartholomew at a point suitable to the interests of navigation at or near Point Pleasant, in the parish of Morehouse, in the State of Louisiana, inConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84. accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. The Act of Congress approved March 31, 1926, entitledFormer Act repealed.Vol. 44, p. 227, repealed. “An Act granting the consent of Congress to the police jury of Morehouse Parish, Louisiana, or the State Highway Commission 58 of Louisiana, to construct a bridge across the Bayou Bartholomew at or near Point Pleasant, in Morehouse Parish,” is hereby repealed. Sec. 3. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, February 6, 1928.
