R. 4776](/us/bill/70/hr/4776).][[Private, No. 386](/us/pvtl/70/386).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary Doctor Stanley R.
Teachout.Compensation for building, etc., losses.of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Doctor Stanley R. Teachout, of Nashville, Tennessee, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $22,602.14 in full compensation for losses sustained and expenses incurred by him on account of certain repairs and alterations which he made in his buildings at Nashville, Tennessee, at the instance of and with the approval of representatives of the United States Veterans’ Bureau and for the purpose of renting said premises to the said United States Veterans’ Bureau and making same suitable for the occupancy by its regional office; and for losses and damages sustained by him on account of the said premises being vacated and the lease canceled by the bureau after an occupancy of nine months.
