March 26, 1928.[[S. 2279](/us/bill/70/s/2279).][[Public, No. 186](/us/pl/70/186).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Bismarck Indian School, N. Dak.Purchase of land for.*Post*, p. 901. That the Secretary of the Interior is hereby authorized and directed to purchase for the Bismarck (North Dakota) Indian school, from the Dakota Corporation, Bismarck, North Dakota, or its successors in interest, certain adjoining tracts of land within the limits of the city of 367 Bismarck, Burleigh County, North Dakota, described as follows:
The Description. southeast quarter of the southeast quarter, containing forty acres; part of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter, containing twenty-three acres more or less; and part of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter, containing thirty acres more or less, all in section 5, township 138 north, range 80 west of the fifth principal meridian, containing ninety-three acres more or less, subject to survey. The purchase price shall not exceed $120 an acre and the Price limit, etc. lands shall be warranted free of all encumbrances.
Sec. 2. Appropriation authorized. There is hereby authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act. Approved, March 26, 1928.
