March 10, 1928.[[S. 2698](/us/bill/70/s/2698).][[Public, No. 148](/us/pl/70/148).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the consentLake Memphremagog.Vermont may bridge an arm of, at Newport. of Congress is hereby granted to the State of Vermont to construct, maintain, and operate a free highway bridge and approaches thereto across an arm of Lake Memphremagog, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Newport, Vermont, in accordanceConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84. with the provisions of an Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, March 10, 1928.
