R. 14481](/us/bill/70/hr/14481).][[Public, No. 735](/us/pl/70/735).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Grand Calumet River.Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad may bridge, in East Chicago, Ind. That the consent Congress is hereby granted to the Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad and its successors and assigns to construct, maintain, railroad bridge across the Grand Calumet River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, in the city of East Construction.Chicago, county of Lake, State of Indiana, in accordance with the 1169provisions of an Act entitled, “An Act to regulate the constructionVol. 34, p. 84. of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. The right to sell, assign, transfer, and mortgage all theRight to sell, etc., conferred. rights, powers, and privileges conferred by this Act is hereby granted to the Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad, its successors and assigns, and any corporation to which or person to whom such rights, powers, and privileges may be sold, assigned, or transferred, or who shall acquire the same by mortgage foreclosure or otherwise is hereby authorized to exercise the same as fully as though conferred herein directly upon such corporation or person.
Sec. 3. Amendment.That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is Amendment, expressly reserved. Approved, February 13, 1929.
