CHAP. 92.— Joint Resolution To authorize the Secretary of War to expend not exceed $125,000 for the protection of Government property adjacent to Lowell Creek, Alaska.February 9, 1927.[[H. J. Res. 100](/us/bill/69/hjres/100).][[Pub. Res., No. 52](/us/bill/69/pubres/52).] Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,Lowell Creek, Alaska.Amount authorized for regulation of, protecting adjacent Federal property, etc. That the Secretary of War is authorized to expend not to exceed $125,000 out of any moneys hereafter appropriated for such purpose for the regulation of Lowell Creek, Alaska, for the protection of the buildings, terminal grounds, and so forth, of the Alaska Engineering Commission and the Alaska Road Commission, the Department of Justice, the United States Signal Corps, and other Federal property within or adjacent to the town of Seward, Alaska, from damage due to floods and overflows *Proviso*.Contribution by local interests.of said Lowell Creek: *Provided*, That $25,000 of the above amount shall be contributed and paid in by the town of Seward or other local interests to be benefited by the proposed improvement, before said work is commenced.
