CHAP. 876.— An Act Granting an annuity to Clyde L. West.July 3, 1926. [[H. R. 11820](/us/bill/69/hr/11820).] [[Private, No. 305](/us/pvtl/69/305).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Clyde L. West.Granted annuity, as recognition of services in yellow fever experiments.*Ante*, pp. 1138, 1255. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the roll of the War Department the name of Clyde L.
West, late of Hospital Corps of the United States Army, and pay him for and during his natural life, in lieu of all pension, the sum of $100 per month, in special recognition of the eminent service rendered, suffering endured, and permanent disabilities contracted by him in the interest of humanity and science as a volunteer subject for experiment in the yellow fever hospital in Cuba.
