CHAP. 842.— An Act Authorizing the Department of State to deliver to Honorable William B, McKinley, United States Senator from the State of Illinois, and permitting him to accept the decoration and diploma presented by the Government or France. July 3, 1926.[[S. 4430](/us/bill/69/s/4430).][[Private, No. 271](/us/pvtl/69/271).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Senator William B. McKinley.May accept decoration and diploma from France.
That William B. McKinley, United States Senator from the State of Illinois, be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept the decoration and diploma of officer of the Legion of Honor tendered to him by the Government of the French Republic, and the Department of State is hereby authorized to deliver to him the said decoration and diploma. Approved, July 3, 1926.
