CHAP. 841.— An Act To authorize the sale of a parcel of land in the town of Westport, Connecticut. July 3, 1926.[[S. 4431](/us/bill/69/s/4431).][[Private, No. 270](/us/pvtl/69/270).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Westport, Conn.Sale of land to. That the Secretary of War is hereby authorized to quitclaim and convey to the town of Westport, Connecticut, for such consideration and on such terms and conditions as he may deem just and equitable, all the1710right, title, and interest of the United States in and to a strip of land, approximately one hundred and eight feet wide and one thousand three hundred and fifty feet long, situated in the said town at Great Marsh, so called, which land was acquired in the year 1841 for canal purposes.
