CHAP. 816.— An Act For the relief of Etelka Bell.July 3, 1926.[[H. R. 4263](/us/bill/69/hr/4263).][[Private, No. 245](/us/pvtl/69/245).] *Be ii enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Etelka Bell.Payment to, widow of diplomatic officer dying in service. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Etelka Bell, widow of the late Edward Bell, late counsellor of legation and charge d’affaires, at the American Embassy at Peking, China, the sum of $9,000, being one year’s salary of her deceased husband, who died of illness incurred while in the Diplomatic Service; and there is authorized to be appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, a sufficient sum to carry out the purpose of this Act.
