CHAP. 708.— An Act To provide for payment of the amount of a war-risk insurance policy to the beneficiaries designated by Lieutenant Lewis Wesley Kitchens, deceased.June 29, 1926.[[H. R. 10807](/us/bill/69/hr/10807).][[Private, No. 226](/us/pvtl/69/226).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and. House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Lieutenant Lewis Wesley Kitchens, Army.Payment to designated beneficiaries of, war risk insurance. That the United States Veterans’ Bureau is authorized and directed to pay the sum of $10,000 to the persons designated as beneficiaries in the application of First Lieutenant Lewis Wesley Kitchens, formerly of Sarah, Mississippi, for war-risk insurance, dated September 25, 1918, in the same manner and with the same effect as if such insurance had been in full force and effect on the date of the death of Lieutenant Kitchens.
Sec. 2. First payment.That the first payment under the provisions of this Act shall be made within two months after the date of its approval and shall include the amount due and payable hereunder from October 31, 1918. Approved, June 29, 1926.
