CHAP. 688.— An Act For the relief of Mrs. M. McCollom, Margaret G. Jackson, and Dorothy M. Murphy.June 25, 1926.[[S. 3049](/us/bill/69/s/3049).][[Private, No. 222](/us/pvtl/69/222).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Mrs. M. McCollom, and others.Payment to, for damages. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Mrs.
M. McCollom the sum of $1,000, to Margaret G. Jackson the sum of $1,500, to Dorothy M. Murphy the sum of $1,500 in full settlement of all claims for financial damages sustained by them and great pain and suffering they were forced to undergo as a result of the explosion of the United States dirigible balloon C—8 at a point near Camp Holabird, Maryland, on the 1st day of July, 1919.
