CHAP. 673.— An Act For the relief of certain officers of the Air Service of the United States Army on account of funds expended by them in connection with the American round-the-world flight.June 24, 1926.[[H. Lawton, H. A. Halverson, and Laclair D. Schulze, first lieutenants. Air Service.Reimbursement for expenses in flight around the world.Vol. 43, p. 491.
That the Comptroller General of the United States be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to settle the claims of the following-named officers of the Air Service, United States Army, for reimbursement of amounts expended by them in connection with arrangements for the round-the-world flight, and which amounts were held by the Comptroller General as unauthorized under the Act of June 7, 1924 (Forty-third Statutes, page 491), making appropriation for all contingent expenses in connection with an aerial flight around the world, of1617 which appropriation there is an available balance:
First Lieutenant M. S. Lawton, $635; First Lieutenant H. A. Halverson, $630; First Lieutenant Laclair D. Schulze, $497; amounting in all to $1,732. Approved, June 24, 1926.
