CHAP. 634.— An Act For the relief of Philip T. Coffey. June 19, 1926. [[S. 3471](/us/bill/69/s/3471).] [[Private, No. 188](/us/pvtl/69/188).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and Bouse of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Philip T. Coffey. Summoned before Army retiring board to inquire as to fitness, etc. That the President of the United States be, and he is hereby, authorized to summon Philip T. Coffey, late captain in the Corps of Engineers of the Regular Army of the United States, before a retiring board for the purpose of a hearing of his case and to inquire into and determine all the facts touching on the nature of his disabilities and to find and report the disabilities which in its judgment has produced his incapacity and whether his disabilities are an incident of service; that upon the findings of such a board the President is further authorized, in his discretion, either to confirm the order by which the said Philip T.
Coffey was discharged, or, in his discretion, to nominateAppointment as captain of Engineers and retired on action of board, etc. and appoint, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, the said Philip T. Coffey, a captain in the Corps of Engineers and place him immediately thereafter upon the retired list of the Army, with the same privileges and retired pay as are now or may hereafter be provided by law or regulation for the officers of the Regular Army: *Provided,* That the said Philip T.
Coffey shall not be entitled*Proviso*.No back pay, etc. to any back pay or allowances by the passage of this Act. Approved, June 19, 1926.
