CHAP. 630.— JOINT RESOLUTION For the relief of George Horton. June 18, 1926. [[S. J. Res., 2](/us/bill/69/sjres/2).] [[Priv. Res., No. 2](/us/bill/69/privres/2).] *Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* George Horton. Compensation for loss of personal effects. That the sum of $11,300 is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be paid to George Horton, formerly consul general of the United States at Smyrna, Turkey, to compensate him for the total loss of his personal effects contained in the American consulate general in Smyrna at the time of the burning and sacking of that city in 1922.
