CHAP. 598.— An Act To amend an Act entitled “An Act to incorporate the American Social Science Association, and for other purposes.”June 16, 1926.[[S. 4094](/us/bill/69/s/4094).][[Public, No. 399](/us/69/pl/399).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,National Institute of Social Sciences.Name of American Social Science Association changed to.Vol. 30, p. 804, amended. That section I of an Act entitled ‘ An Act to incorporate the American Social Science Association,” approved January 28, 1899, be amended by striking out the words “ American Social Science Association ” and substituting therefor1 the words “ National Institute of Social Sciences ” as the name of the corporation, so that as amended it shall read “ National Institute of Social Sciences.
” That the Act be further amended by adding the followingNew sections. sections: " “Sec . 4. That the National Institute of Social Sciences shall holdAnnual meetings and report. an annual meeting at such place in the United States as may be designated, and shall make an annual report to the Congress, to be filed with the Librarian of Congress without printing. “Sec . 5. That the National Institute of Social Sciences be, andAuthorized to receive and bold real and personal property. the same is hereby, authorized and empowered to receive bequests and donations of real and personal property and to hold the same in trust, and to invest and reinvest the same for the furtherance of the interests of the social sciences.
