CHAP. 55.— An Act To authorize the payment of indemnity to the Government of Great Britain on account of losses sustained by the owners of the British steamship Mavisbrook as a result of collision between it and the United States transport Carolinian.January 25, 1927.[[S. 1730](/us/bill/69/s/1730).][[Public, No. 568](/us/pl/69/568).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Great Britain.Payment authorized to, as collision damages to steamship “Mavisbrook.
” That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to the Government of Great Britain out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $16,397.26, as full indemnity for the losses sustained by the owners of the British steamship Mavisbrook as a result of a collision between said steamship Mavisbrook and the United States transport Carolinian at or near Brest, France, on or about February 15, 1918. Approved, January 25, 1927.
