CHAP. 523.— An Act For the relief of Lillie F. Evans. March 4, 1927. [[S. 1818](/us/bill/69/s/1818).] [[Private, No. 535](/us/pvtl/69/535).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Lillie P. Evans. Payment to, for death of husband. That the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States is hereby directed to pay out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated to Lillie F. Evans, of Atlanta, Georgia, in full settlement against the Government, the sum of $5,000 in payment of her claim growing out of the death of her husband, Walter L.
Evans, accidentally killed on April 24, 1924, by a bullet fired by the United States Army during target practice on the Rose Dhu Rifle Range near Savannah, Georgia. Approved, March 4, 1927.
