CHAP. 483.— An Act For the relief of Captain Norman D. Cota. March 3, 1927. [[H. R. 724](/us/bill/69/hr/724).] [[Private, No. 525](/us/pvtl/69/525).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled.*, Captain Norman D. Cota, Army. Credit allowed for stolen public funds. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to credit the account of Captain Norman D. Cota, former paymaster of the Army at Langley Field, Virginia, with $2,784.79, this sum being a balance due the United States.
The said Captain Norman D. Cota on January 30, 1923, while transporting from Hampton, Virginia, the funds pertaining to the monthly payment of the command at Langley Field, was robbed by two highwaymen of the above-named amount of Government funds in his custody. Approved, March 3, 1927.
