CHAP. 43.— An Act Granting the consent of Congress to the Minneapolis, Northfield and Southern Railway to construct, maintain, and operate a railroad bridge across the Minnesota River.January 21, 1927.[[S. 4813](/us/bill/69/s/4813).][[Public, No. 556](/us/pl/69/556).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled*,Minnesota River. That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to the Minneapolis, Northfield and 1009Southern Railway, a corporation organized under the laws of theMinneapolis, Northfield and Southern Railway may bridge, in Hennepin and Scott Counties, Minn.
State of South Dakota, its successors and assigns, to construct, maintain, and operate a railroad bridge and approaches thereto across the Minnesota River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation near the intersection of the Minnesota River and the section line between sections 4 and 9, township 115 north, range 21 west, fifth principal meridian, counties of Hennepin and Scott, State of Minnesota,Construction. in accordance with the provisions of an Act entitled “An ActVol. 34, p. 84. to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. The right to sell, assign, transfer, and mortgage all theRight to sell, etc., conferred. rights, powers, and privileges conferred by this Act is hereby granted to the Minneapolis, Northfield and Southern Railway, its successors and assigns, and any corporation to which such rights, powers, and privileges may be sold, assigned, or transferred, or which shall acquire the same by mortgage foreclosure or otherwise is hereby authorized to exercise the same as fully as though conferred therein directly upon such corporation.
Sec. 3. The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, January 21, 1927.
