CHAP. 419.— An Act To amend section 1155 of an Act entitled “An Act to establish a code of law for the District of Columbia.”May 28, 1926.[[S. 2730](/us/bill/69/s/2730).][[Public, No. 312](/us/pl/69/312).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the. United States of America in Congress assembled*,District of Columbia Code.Vol, 31, p. 1371, amended.Proviso stricken out. That section 1155 of “An Act to establish a code of law for the District of Columbia.” approved March 3, 1901, be, and the same is hereby, amended by striking out the following words contained in said section 1155:
" Limit on power of married woman as surety, etc.*“Provided*, That no married woman shall have power to make any contract as surety or guarantor or as accommodation drawer, acceptor, maker, or indorser.” " Approved, May 28, 1926.
