CHAP. 405.— AN ACT For the relief of Martha Ellen Raper.March 3, 1927.[[S. 4858.](/us/bill/69/s/4858).][[Private, No. 447](/us/pvtl/69/447).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Martha Ellen Raper.Payment to, for death of husband. That the Secretary of the Treasury is hereby authorized and directed to pay to Martha Ellen Raper, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $2,500 as reimbursement for the death of her husband, William Raper, who died from personal injuries resulting from the negligence of a United States railway mail clerk, while the said William Raper was engaged in carrying the United States mail at Bearden, Tennessee, and said sum is hereby appropriated for this purpose.
