CHAP. 396.— An Act To amend section 220 of the Criminal Code.May 26, 1926.[[S. 3115](/us/bill/69/s/3115).][[Public, No. 292](/us/pl/69/292).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Criminal Code.Vol. 35, p. 1132, amended. That section 220 of the Criminal Code be amended to read as follows: " “ Sec. 220. Whoever shall forge, or counterfeit, or knowinglyPunishment for counterfeiting foreign postage or revenue stamps. utter or use any forged or counterfeit postage stamp or revenue stamp of any foreign government shall be fined not more than $500, or imprisoned riot more than five years, or both: *Provided, however*, That*Proviso*.Printing as illustrations, etc., not affected.Vol. 42, p, 1437. nothing in this Act shall be held to repeal or modify an Act entitled ‘An Act to allow the printing and publishing of illustrations of foreign postage and revenue stamps from defaced plates,’ approved March 3, 1923.
