CHAP. 395.— An Act To correct the military record of Thornton Jackson.March 3, 1927.[[H. R. 6847](/us/bill/69/hr/6847).][[Private, No. 437](/us/pvtl/69/437).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Thornton Jackson.Military record corrected. That in the administration of the pension laws governing Civil War soldiers, 1804 Thornton Jackson, now a resident of Indiana, shall hereafter be held and considered to have been honorably discharged from the military service of the United States as a private of Company K, One hundred and forty-ninth Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry, on the 27th day of September, 1865: *Provided*, That no back pay,*Proviso*.No back pay, etc. pension, or allowance shall be held to have accrued prior to the passage of this Act.
