CHAP. 343.— An Act Validating certain applications for and entries of public lands, and for other purposes.May 19, 1926.[[H. Sec. 6. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby,Farmers State Bank, Brady, Mont.Purchase by, authorized. authorized to issue patent to the Farmers State Hank of Brady, Montana, for lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 and the east half of the northwest quarter and east half of the southwest quarter of section 31, township 27 north, range 2 east, Montana meridian, upon payment therefor by said bank at the rate of $1.25 per acre. Sec. 7. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby,Clarence T.
Bach.Amended homestead entry allowed. authorized to allow the amendment of homestead entry Phoenix, Arizona, numbered 054443, made by Clarence T. Bach on October 17, 1922, for the southwest quarter of section 9, township 8 south, range 20 west, Gila and Salt Fiver meridian, and also the final certificate which was issued December 15, 1923, on final proof duly submitted, to embrace in lieu of the above-described tract, the northeast quarter of said section 9, and to issue patent thereon.
Sec. 8. Sec. 9. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby,Harrison, Mich.Patent to, on payment. authorized to issue a patent to the city of Harrison, Michigan, for an island in Bud Lake surveyed as lot 11 of section 21, township 19 north, range 4 west, Michigan meridian, containing one and four one-hundredths acres, upon payment therefor at the rate of $1.25 per acre: *Provided*, That if the Secretary of the Interior shall find*Proviso*.Condition. that the said island is not being used for park purposes, the title thereto shall revert to the United States.
Sec. 10. That upon surrender of the patent issued on June 20,John H. Haggett.Issue of patent to, in lieu of surrendered mineral entry. 1923, to John H. Haggett on his mineral entry, Portland 06369, embracing the east half of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter, section 21, township 12 south, range 3 east, Willamette meridian, and the reconveyance thereof by the entryman to the United States, the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a new patent thereon to said John H.
Haggett, subject to the provisions, reservations, conditions, and limitations of section 24, Federal Water Power Act, approved June 10, 1920Vol. 41, p. 1003. (Forty-first Statutes at Large, page 1063). Sec. 11. That section 10 of the Act of Congress approved FebruaryRichard Walsh.May retain farm unit on payment. 7, 1925 (Forty-third Statutes at Large, page 809), be, and the same is hereby, amended to allow Fichard Walsh to retain the landVol. 43, p. 812, amended. embraced in farm unit A, or lots 3 and 5, and the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter, section 22, township 41 south, range 12 east, Willamette meridian, Oregon, containing 67.45 acres, upon payment therefor at the rate of $1.25 per acre. 1479 Sec. 12.
That the stock-raising homestead entry, Roswell, NewAndrew C. Woolf.Stock raising homestead entry validated. Mexico, numbered 047458, made by Andrew C. Woolf, on May 20, 1920. for the southeast quarter of section 7, and lots 1, 2, and the east half of the northwest quarter, northeast quarter, and the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter, section 18, township 19 south, range 16 east, New Mexico principal meridian, on which patent issued February 25, 1924, be, and the same is hereby, validated.
Sec. 13. That the provisions of section 2455 of the RevisedAbandoned Fort Fetterman Reservation, Wyo.Sales on, confirmed. Statutes of the United States be, and the same are hereby, extended to the lands within the abandoned Fort Fetter man Military Reservation in the State of Wyoming, which were restored to entry under the homestead laws only by the provisions of the Act of July 10,Vol. 26, p. 227. 1890 (Twenty-sixth Statures at Large, page 227), and the Act ofVol. 27, p. 408.
December 22, 1892 (Twenty-seventh Statutes at Large, page 408): *Provided*, That sales of land in said abandoned military reservation*Proviso*.Condition.[R. Sec. 15. Sec. 16. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby,Marquis W. Clarkson.Desert land patent to. authorized to issue patent upon desert land entry, Evanston, Wyoming, numbered 05367, made by Marquis W. Clarkson on March 22, 1919, for the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter, west half of the southeast quarter, section 18, and northwest quarter of the northeast quarter, section 19, township 35 north, range 113 west, sixth principal meridian, in support of which final proof was submitted June 1, and on which final certificate issued on June 16, 1925.
