CHAP. 335.— An Act To authorize the Secretary of the Interior to exchange for lands in private ownership in Gunnison County, Colorado, certain public lands in Delta County, Colorado.March 3, 1927.[[S. 4060](/us/bill/69/s/4060).][[Public, No. 738](/us/pl/69/738).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Public lands.Exchange of, in Colorado, with Juanita Coal and Coke Company. That the Secretary of the Interior is hereby authorized anti empowered, in his discretion, to exchange certain public lands in the county of Delta, State of Colorado, described as follows:
The southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section 2, the south half of the south half of section 3, the north half of the north half of section 10, and the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of section 11, all in township 13 south of range 91 west of the sixth principal meridian, for other lands of approximately equal aggregate value 1372now owned by the Juanita Coal and Coke Company, a Colorado corporation, and situate in the county of Gunnison, State of Colorado, described as follows:
The east half and the southwest quarter of section 19, all in township 13 south of range 90 west *Proviso*.Federal holdings consolidated.of the sixth principal meridian: *Provided*, That by such action he will be enabled advantageously to consolidate the holdings of coal Reservations.lands by the United States: *And provided further*, That patent to be issued for the south half of the southwest quarter of section 3, township 13 south, of range 91 west, shall contain appropriate Vol. 39, p. 864.notations as provided by section 9 of the Act of December 29, 1916 (Thirty-ninth Statutes, page 862).
Sec. 2. Authority conferred. That the Secretary of the Interior is hereby authorized to perform any and all acts and to make such piles and regulations as may be necessary and proper for the purpose of carrying the provisions of this Act into full force and effect. Approved, March 3, 1927.
